1. Overview

VoicePrompter is a macOS application designed to provide a voice-activated teleprompting experience. Your privacy is a priority. This app is built with a Privacy-First architecture: we do not collect, store, or transmit your voice data or scripts to any external servers.

2. Data Collection and Usage

• Audio/Microphone Data: The app requires access to your Mac's microphone to enable voice-activated scrolling.
  • On-Device Processing: All speech recognition is performed locally on your device using Apple’s native SFSpeech frameworks.
  • No Recording: We do not record, store, or share your audio files or transcriptions.
• Scripts and Text: Any text you paste or type into the app stays on your local machine. We have zero access to your scripts.
• Subscription Data: Payments are handled exclusively by Apple via In-App Purchases. We do not see your credit card information, name, or billing address. Apple provides us only with anonymous transaction identifiers to unlock your "Pro" features.

3. Third-Party Services

We use no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not use cookies or trackers. The only third-party service involved is Apple App Store, which manages your subscription and local receipt verification.

4. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA 2026)

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no data to "delete" or "export" from our side. You can revoke microphone access at any time in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone.

Part 2: The "App Reviewer Note"

When you submit your build in App Store Connect, there is a box for "Review Notes." Copy and paste this to prevent a rejection:

Note to Reviewer: This app is a premium teleprompter that is "Hard-Gated" by a subscription. There is no free tier.

Testing Instructions:

1. Please use a Sandbox Tester account to "Purchase" a subscription on the launch paywall.
2. No real funds will be charged.
3. Once the Sandbox purchase is confirmed, the app will unlock the teleprompter interface.

Privacy Verification: The app uses the microphone for voice-activated scrolling. All audio processing is handled locally on-device using Apple's Speech Recognition API. No audio data is transmitted off the device.
