Android privacy notice Effective date: September 27, 2026 Developer: Kanstantsin Suvorau This notice applies to VoicePrompter for Android. The separate macOS notice below does not describe the Android app's speech recognition, recording, purchases, or analytics. Microphone, speech recognition, and recordings VoicePrompter uses microphone access for voice scrolling, sound scrolling, voice commands, and audio in recordings. It uses camera access when you choose video mode. You can manage these permissions in Android Settings. For voice recognition, VoicePrompter uses Android's installed speech-recognition services and prefers on-device recognition when available. Depending on your device, language, and recognition provider, recognition may use an online service. Audio and recognition hints, which can include upcoming words from your script, are supplied to the recognition provider. That provider's privacy terms apply to any processing it performs outside your device. VoicePrompter does not send these audio streams, transcripts, or script hints to TelemetryDeck. When you record a video, audio and video files are created on your device. Recordings can be saved to your Gallery or exported using destinations you choose. Temporary recording files may remain for recovery and can be managed in Recording Storage. Inactive temporary recordings are eligible for automatic cleanup after 30 days; this cleanup does not remove exported Gallery copies. Scripts, settings, and backups Scripts and settings are stored on your device. Android backup and device-transfer services may include app data according to your system settings. If you export or share content, the destination you choose handles that content under its own privacy terms. Speech-recognition hints are described above. Purchases Google Play handles Android purchases and subscriptions. VoicePrompter uses purchase information to check and restore paid access. It does not receive your payment-card details. Purchase tokens and order identifiers used to verify access and prevent duplicate analytics events are not included in the app's TelemetryDeck purchase signals. Analytics VoicePrompter for Android uses TelemetryDeck to understand feature usage, improve the app, and measure purchases. Analytics include app events, Pro status, app and device information, and SDK-generated hashed identifiers. Purchase events include the product and plan, amount and currency, purchase type, and Google Play country. Scripts, speech transcripts, and recordings are not included in these analytics events. TelemetryDeck receives the analytics data. Its documentation describes how identifiers are hashed and how its analytics service processes data: https://telemetrydeck.com/docs/guides/privacy-faq/ Your controls and contact You can remove scripts and temporary recordings through the app, manage exported videos through your Gallery, manage purchases through Google Play, and manage app permissions and backups through Android Settings. Removing the app's local data does not cancel a Google Play subscription or automatically remove files you exported elsewhere. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].

Optional offline speech recognition You can download a Vosk language model to recognize speech on your device. Audio processed by Vosk is not sent to a remote speech-recognition service. Downloading a model requires an internet connection to the model host, which receives the network information needed to deliver the file, such as your IP address. You can remove downloaded models in Voice scrolling settings. Sound scrolling measures microphone volume on the device; if recording voice commands are enabled, those commands use your selected speech engine.

Optional accessibility service VoicePrompter offers an optional AccessibilityService for microphone-based scrolling and voice commands while recording video in VoicePrompter or another camera app. The service accesses microphone audio during prompting sessions you start. Built-in recognition sends audio and recognition hints, which can include upcoming script words and configured command phrases, to your phone's speech provider; that provider may process them online. Vosk recognition runs on your device.

The service does not read screen content, collect accessibility events from other apps, tap their controls, take screenshots, or record calls. Pausing scrolling can leave listening active if recording voice commands are enabled. Close the prompter to end its listening session. You can disable the service in Android Accessibility settings at any time, and Constant scrolling remains available without it. Disabling the service does not delete recordings you have saved.

Voice setup analytics Voice setup events include the tested mode, speech engine, selected language, whether accessibility was selected, whether any words were detected, and whether the check worked. These events do not include the audio, recognized words, script contents, or recording files.
